At Chaal Chalan, we try to make it very easy for shoe lovers to select their size from the most popular sizing scales, i.e., Euro and UK sizes. We offer our customers a choice of a Standard size and Custom size footwear.

TIPS


    • If you have wide foot, please choose sandal 1 size up
    • Allow for 0.5 cm extra 'wriggle' room for your toes.
    • Higher heels will put higher pressure on your toes.
    • Round toe shapes leave more room than pointed toe shapes.
    • Measure feet at the end of the day when they are largest.
    • Everyone's foot is different, try to choose styles that match your foot shape.
    • Make sure that the ball part of your foot fits snugly into the widest point of the shoe.
    • Don't choose a size that fits tight and hope they will stretch later.
    • Select a size that allows your feet to fit in easily with minimal slipping when walking.
    • Take plenty time to try your shoes at home on a carpeted surface to make sure they feel right.
    • Lower heel are better to wear over long periods.
    • The generally accepted max height for 'reasonable' comfort is 7cm.
    • Over time the 'conditioning' of your feet may allow you to wear higher heels but this 'training' period may take some time.

    How to Measure Your Foot Size
    To get the best possible fit, we suggest measuring your foot
     


    STEP 1

    Place the paper on the floor against a wall. Put the foot on the piece of paper, with the heel against the wall.

     











    STEP 2

    Mark the longest part of the foot on the paper. Repeat for both feet since it is common to have different feet length.

     







    STEP 3

    Measure the vertical distance and width to compare it with the size chart below. Use the measurement of the longer foot when choosing what size to order.

    At CHAAL CHALAN we offer Shoe Lovers special Custom Size Footwear that is handcrafted to deliver perfectly fitted footwear in the design of your choice. Our master artisans take foot measurements using specialized techniques before proceeding to handcraft a prototype of the chosen design. We ensure that our customer is completely satisfied with the fit before final production. We currently offer this service only by appointment at our Studio in Mumbai.
